Co Founder and Artist
Hi everyone my name is Jess and I am the artist and co-founder behind The People’s Art of Kindness. I am an abstract artist and I work in various mediums, I paint to music as I feel that songs inspire me to create pieces by using that feeling and movement and my personal interpretation of the song comes out in the painting. I find people so interesting, intriguing and powerful. I know that everyone deals with their demons in their own way and I want to show this through my art. I create pieces of art when I feel something whether that's anxiety, stress, happiness, sadness, or just pure excitement. I believe that we all look for a meaning in everything we do and with each and with every piece I create there is a meaning behind it. I want to let people feel that it's ok not to be ok, life is really hard and I don't think a day passes where my brain doesn't feel like it's going to explode. I love to travel and explore different cultures and see the world in all of its glory. I feel that a mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.
Exhibition and Collectors history:
I have previously exhibited at Roy’s Art Fair in the Truman Brewery, Brick lane, London last October where I was very successful in selling my art and have since been commissioned for many pieces in respect of that. I am hopefully going to exhibit again this October if the virus allows the show to go on. I am now part of the team of artists for The Emerging Artists Platform working with Hansford and Sons Fine Art. I am also working with D|A|C Concepts in Miami, we are currently in the process of building my profile and getting my work online.
Co Founder and Director of Operations
Hi, I’m Jade, the co-founder and operations director of the People’s Art of Kindness. From a very young age I have always had an affinity with people. I love helping people and I love seeing people happy. When I was 18 went to work abroad as a kids rep in Turkey. Since then I have spent most of my years working with children. Travelling the world, experiencing different cultures and meeting new people are my biggest passions in life. Africa had always been somewhere that I wished to visit. Since 2018 I have spent the majority of my time in Malawi, volunteering at an orphanage in the capital city, Lilongwe. The sense of joy, happiness and fulfilment I get from being around these children is incredible. I feel like my purpose on Earth is to help others, children in particularly. So with Jess’s painting skills and our love for helping others we decided to put the two together and make a real difference in the world through the People’s Art of Kindness.
